Ultra-widefield with Optical Coherence Tomographic

Optos Monaco

Comprehensive Retinal Imaging with Integrated Spectral-Domain OCT

The Optos Monaco is an advanced ultra-widefield (UWF™) retinal imaging device that combines a 200° single-capture optomap® image with integrated spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). This combination facilitates detailed examination of the retina, enabling imaging of pathology from the macula through the far periphery.

Ultra-Widefield Imaging
  • 200° Single-Capture Retinal Image: Captures comprehensive retinal view in less than 0.4 seconds, enabling visualization of peripheral retinal pathology.
Integrated Spectral-Domain OCT
  • Detailed Imaging: Features an 840 nm spectral-domain OCT light source, offering high-resolution cross-sectional images with axial resolution of <7 µm and transverse resolution of <20 µm.
  • OptoMap Guided OCT Scanning: Provides optomap-guided OCT scanning across the retina, including the macula and optic nerve head.
  • High Scan Rate: A-Scan rate up to 70,000 cycles per second with active eye tracking and automatic scan positioning.
  • Multi Variant Scan Types: Supports various OCT scan types, including line scan, raster scan, retina topography scan, optic nerve head (ONH) topography scan, and retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) scan.
Multi-Modal Imaging Capabilities
  • Color Composite Imaging: Supports RG color composite imaging for detailed visualization.
  • Advanced Imaging Modes: Includes Red-free, Choroidal, Autofluorescence (green and blue) imaging options.
  • Spectral-Domain OCT : Features an 840 nm spectral-domain OCT light source.
Enhanced Workflow and Integration
  • Compact Design: Features a compact design with dimensions: Width: 550 mm, Depth: 570 mm, Height: 606–632 mm.
  • Browser-Based Review Platform: Equipped with OptosAdvance™, a browser-based image review platform that allows easy access and integration into existing systems.
  • DICOM Compatibility: DICOM compatibility ensures seamless communication with electronic health records.
