The speaker
Dr. Sal Rassam MD DO FRCOphth, is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Panacea Medical Centre, United Kingdom, specialising in disease of the retina and vitreoretinal surgery. He has over 30 years of experience for diabetic patients, retinal vascular disease, disease of the macula and other vitreoretinal conditions.
Dr. Sal Rassam has an extensive experience with the Canon OCT-HS100.
Aim
The aim of the webinar is to have an interactive presentation of the Canon OCT-A technology and its ability to meet various clinical settings. Questions will be taken at any time during the presentation.
There will also be time at the end for questions.
Target Audience
We try to target an audience that already has a Canon OCT-HS100 with Angio Expert and perhaps would like to know more on the clinical applications and the extensive possibilities of the software, as well as those OCT-HS100 owners that consider an upgrade to OCT-A.
Content
Introduction on the technology behind OCT and OCT Angiography. This will be followed up by a presentation on the Canon OCT-HS100 machine going through 3 stages:
Stage 1 will be the initial default settings and the ability to modify these settings to suit different patients and disease process. Examples of clinical cases in relation to this will be presented.
Stage 2 will be image acquisition with examples of patients and disease processes.
Stage 3 will be image analysis with examples of clinical cases.
Lastly some random interesting cases will be discussed.
The talk’s duration is approximately 35 minutes.
